Thanks for checking out Spectrum! I'm Ms. Reid, and I have been the adviser for Spectrum for the past 14 years. Spectrum energy in the newsroom invigorates me throughout the school year. I love to watch young journalists grow in confidence as they interview, become more informed, change their minds, and lean into tough, important topics. My proudest Spectrum moments have been the staff coverage of protests both in and out of school as well as how the Spectrum staff pivoted with each COVID adaptation while creating a sense of community during distance learning. As the stone etching on my desk states, "Spectrum ROCKS!"
