As students, personal political beliefs seem to be trapped in our conscious. The self-righteous ideals that were sprawled on scrolls across the wooden tables of our country’s founding or even the passionate values and words to live by etched in the plaques of our institution. With all of this history in pure word vomit of never-ending principles, we live in a moment in time where the student body is crippled by their own ideas to start a conversation. Why is it so hard for us to talk about politics?
