On November 5, the boys and girls cross country teams competed at the state championship meet held at St. Olaf. After a close race, Brandon Clark ’12 got second place with a time of 15:59. Clare Flanagan ’14 was the state champion, with an outstanding time of 14:21. Flanagan won by a margin of thirteen seconds, earning her recognition as the Kare 11 athlete of the week. Jordan Chancellor ’15 got seventh in the girls division with a time of 14:57. After team victories for boys and girls at the conference and sectional meets, both teams topped off their amazing seasons with fourth place finishes at state.
