Maddy Potter ’19 dominated in the Class A State Tournament meet at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center on November 18. The Girls’ Swim and Dive team finished 6th among Class A foes, but Potter won two different individual titles in the 100 Yard Butterfly and the 200 yard Individual Medley. Potter set new school records in both races with times of 2:03.76 in the IM and 54.63 in the Fly. Her times set new school records breaking her previous school record from last year in the 100 Yard Butterfly by almost a second. Potter’s high school season came to a close, but she swims year round for Aquajets and will be swimming in the Grand Prix meet in January amongst Olympians. Look for an exciting senior season for Potter next fall.
