Ben Lee ’19 ends year as National Student Poet representative, starts new chapter
On August 30, Ben Lee ’19, the 2017 National Student Poet representative for the Midwest region, traveled to Washington D.C to welcome the incoming National Student Poets for 2018 at the National Library of Congress. The National Student Poets Program receives over 20,500 works and from the initial submissions 5 finalist are selected. While this marks the end of his time as a National Student Poet for 2017, Lee remarks, “I look forward to expanding my alumni connections.” The incoming Midwest Representative is Darius Atefat-Peckham from Interlochen, Michigan.
