Students on bleachers of new student section theme red for Minnehaha High School homecoming game against Washburn on September 21.

On Friday, Sep. 14 Wolfpack SMB had its first home game at the Hopkins Campus. Due to construction on the campus, the student section was moved to the endzone of the field, much to the dismay of many students. In attempt to voice their concerns, students tried to relocate to the space traditionally used for students, but were met with school officials requiring them to move back to the endzone.

Senior Dean, Anne Rubin wrote to the Class of 2019 stating “We are required by MSHSL and District Football to provide seating for the visitors. Consequently, we needed to locate visiting fans on the north end of the stadium…  We do not have the required seats for the visiting team to be located in the endzone.”
