Sampling Content Creators’ Food, Drink Products

Comparing You Tubers’ snacks

Feastables’ Mr. Beast Bar, bought at Target.

The 10th person to email us saying they have read this article will win $10,000! Just kidding. That’s something famous YouTuber Mr. Beast would do. When you read the first sentence, I’m sure you were jumping at the fact that $10,000 is a lot of money. How does Mr. Beast receive this money to give away so freely? Through his chocolate bar brand, Feastables Mr. Beast Chocolate. In his videos, he always claims that his Feastables bars are better than Herseys, but I decided to put this to the test with his chocolate, and other content creators’ food products.

Upon buying both the Hersey’s and the Mr. Beast Feastable bars, I was more excited to eat Mr. Beast’s due to the vibrant packaging with vivid bright colors compared to Hersey’s dull but classic brown packaging. Due to my excitement, I ate Mr. Beast’s bar first, and I was pleasantly surprised. The chocolate had the perfect amount of sweetness, and I wasn’t overwhelmed when eating it. At first, I immediately thought that this bar was better than Hersey’s, but as I continued to chow down, I realized that Herseys tasted just as good. Upon eating the Hersey’s bar, I was immediately reminded of its greatness through its classic sweet taste. After trying both, I would say they are both a 9/10 and solid options. You cannot go wrong with either.

Next, I wanted to compare Wrestler and YouTuber Logan Paul and KSI’s Hydration drink PRIME to Gatorade. I love Gatorade, so I was not expecting PRIME to overtake it. I got the Strawberry Watermelon flavor of PRIME, as that was the only one left on the shelf, and decided to compare it to my favorite flavor of Gatorade, Lemon-Lime. I tried PRIME first, out of excitement: The vibrant color and large bold branding made me excited to drink it. Right away my tastebuds were delighted by the strong strawberry watermelon flavor. The only thing was I could almost taste the excess amount of sugar in the drink, which I didn’t think took away from the amazing flavor. In comparison, Gatorade also gave me a strong lemon-lime taste, but not nearly as much sugar as PRIME. Macy Gregor ‘24 thinks the Gatorade powder is better than regular Gatorade, especially when “trainers make them, that’s really good.” I think they are both 9/10 drinks, but Gatorade is better for sports, and PRIME is better for recreation due to the high amount of sugar.

Hi, my name is Jason and I am a senior. I have been writing for Spectrum since I was a sophomore. I am currently an Editor Emeritus, but when I was editor last semester, I edited the Reviews and Recommendations page. My favorite part about Spectrum is covering the heavily talked about topics around the Blake Community. Outside of Spectrum, I love watching sports, playing sports, and eating hamburgers.
