With finals just around the corner, the amount of schoolwork has increased and time management more important than ever. Most students do extracurricular activities, too, so it is essential to know how to be organized during this busy time.
Mason Thies ‘28 described that “breathing almost feels like it’s intertwined with homework at this point.” Thies does online business management outside of school, and he shared that he likes to use a planner to keep track of all of his school work.
Other students feel similarly about the extreme pressure and stress right now. Adam Miketic ‘28 recently studied for and took the AP Euro exam. When asked about strategies he used to manage his work, he noted, “I feel like I pace myself and try to get work done during free block and flex time during school.” Miketic shares advice for other students as well, suggesting that they “[put] a screen time limit on their devices.”
Another busy student, Henry Cloutier ‘28, plays lacrosse. Cloutier expresses honestly that he “kind of wing[s] it” when it comes to managing his busy schedule. However, he shares that he usually stays on top of his homework.
Throughout the community, there are many different ways to manage busy schedules to prepare for finals week. As students navigate stressful times, it is important to remember that summer is just around the corner. Work hard, try your best, and enjoy the last few days of school.
