1. Daniel Shan ’15 is a first generation musician in his family

2. He originally wanted to play the trombone, but was forced to play the tuba

3. Daniel started playing in fourth grade

4. He participates in Minnesota Youth Symphony and All State Band

5. It is hardest to play the high notes because it “hurts your mouth”

6. His musical inspiration is his teacher, Paul Budde

7. Daniel plays his tuba in the living room
