A Review of Summer’s Beverages


Iced coffee/tea –

A chilled cup of one’s favorite coffee or tea provides the irresistible incentive one needs to wake on the sleepiest of summer days.  The caffeine responsible forphoto-(10) successful mornings during the school year, presents itself in a different form, summer approved!

Pressed juice –

A fresh pressed juice, often used as the essential refreshment during one’s summer health kick, supplies the immune system with helpful antioxidants, while suiting an array of taste bud demands.  The varied options of this kind include: açai, almond milk, beet, carrot, ginger, kale, and watermelon based juices; however, depending on the juicery one may find a more extensive or limited selection of bases.

Milkshake –

Need a sweet cool-down, but dislike the inevitable, melty mess accompanying an ice cream cone?  A milkshake, safely protected by its sealed lid, still possesses the taste and desired sugar rush found in a scoop of ice cream, while lowering the probability of sticky fingers and a ruined shirt.

Smoothie –

If pressed juice neglects to entice, possibly due to a lack of texture or density, a blended smoothie provides a close alternative.  And, depending on the situation in which one enjoys a smoothie, additives such as frozen yogurt or hemp seeds easily adapt to the health goals of the consumer.
